Raising awareness

Chandra Prabha Society is organizing health awareness meetings at the level of every slums and villages. The issues discussed in such meeting revolved around prevention of diseases, health related problems and their possible solutions, various government and non government health schemes, safe drinking water, family planning methods, immunization, cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation, women reproductive health issues and how they could improve their services were discussed on a regular basis in the project areas. Total 18 Goshthi’s/health awareness programmes were organized and 1604 (945 female and 659 male) persons participated in these programmes.
