Chandra Prabha society is the outcome of a prolonged struggle and mass movement to secure the legal & constitutional rights and entitlements of disadvantaged, marginalized and backward communities of our country. It was registered under the Indian Society Registration Act 1860 in the year 2004 as a NGO group. Since, its inception it has taken up the problems of women empowerment, promotion of rural artisan and craftsman, Health programmes, homeless people & prevention and rehabilitation of underprivileged children on priority, and focused its activities on their different dimensions.
